Raise​

Raise runs the binding of a hook and answers its result within HookCall.deadline. No binding for a required hook is FAILED_PRECONDITION with a CallFailure detail of type backplane.NoBinding; an optional one answers {}. A failed run is ABORTED with a CallFailure: its type and message are the run's error; a run past the deadline DEADLINE_EXCEEDED. A binding on the temporal runtime when this backplane has none is FAILED_PRECONDITION.

  • Errors: operations + common.
  • Read/validation: safe to retry after a transient failure.
